The Fox Inn Santa Monica 1961 Vintage Men’s T-Shirt Description Bill “The Fox” Foster was a born entertainer, so it’s no surprise that after opening The Fox Inn in 1961, he built a large following that brought folks into his place just to hang out with such a fun guy. His typical repertoire began by downing a mugs (or pitchers) of beer with astonishing speed, before moving on to his real love: leading a songfest of bawdy ballads. As his fame grew, he began doing gigs everywhere from frat houses to country clubs, eventually even making his way to TV. After closing The Fox Inn, Foster began doing his act in other socal bars and saloons, sometimes sanctioned, sometimes not, but all told, nobody ever asked him to leave as he was clearly the life of the party.
