eBay Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of RRP £9,378 George Smith Low Scroll Arm wingback armchairs with Damask upholstery. Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. A very good looking well-made and comfortable pair of large wingback armchairs by the great George Smith, hand made in Chelsea London. The frames are heavy solid hand carved mahogany, the upholstery is Damask. The frames costs £3825 each, each chair needs 8 meters of fabric which costs £108 per meter, the total fabric cost is £869 so with the frame price they are £4689 each. Both chairs are in sublime condition, they have always been used with arm protectors, so the arms are perfect. The legs have a lovely vintage patina. The back of the chairs where the heads rest have very slight barely noticeable discoloration on one and slightly more noticeable on the other, I have tried to picture but it is very faint. The cushions are nicely feather filled and fully upholstered so should the worst happen, and you stain one side you can simply flip them over.
