For sale is a very special copy of the Nadia The Secret of Blue Water movie by Studio Gainax. This is a promotional copy that was never meant to enter the hands of the public, likely distributed to specific companies/vendors to advertise or preview the movie. I can’t find anything about this promotion copy online, so I’m not sure how many exist or who exactly these were distributed too. The box has a unique sticker under the plastic layer and over the barcode on the back that reads “FOR PROMOTION ONLY – ADV RESERVES OWNERSHIP – SALE IS UNLAWFUL”. But what’s far more interesting is the DVD itself is unique and has a completely different cover than the original, with an additional etched lettering that says “FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR SALE OR RENTAL”. I have no idea if the contents of this DVD are any different from the original copy, but I’d assume it’s very likely the same. Based on how I can find literally no mention of this promotion copy anywhere online, I would have to assume this is quite the rare piece. I’m pricing it up as I have no idea what to value it at or what the demand for something like this would be, feel free to send me your best offers. This would make a extremely rare and unique addition to a classic anime/Nadia collection! Condition wise it’s beautiful with no notable wear or damage anywhere. Please refer to the pictures. This item was sealed in a clear polybag after I finished picturing it, to ensure it doesn’t get any further shelf wear or dust while in my ownership.
