Our Lady of Victory is the original title given to the Blessed Mother after a great victory of the Christian forces over the Muslim naval forces at Lapanto near the cost of Greece in 1571. It is a very unique holy card based on a photo of the statue of Our Lady of Victory. These beautiful Holy Prayer Cards are based on photos of a statue of Our Lady of Victory. They have been digitally designed and handcrafted in the United States. The statue of Mary has been redesigned to offer a unique look in presenting Her beauty. Pictured here the Blessed Mother is shown holding Child Jesus both wearing crowns. In the background is a painting of the actual battle of Lapanto with the naval ships of both sides. These cards have been designed to honor the Mother of Jesus and to glorify God through veneration of Her. Statue Art:The statue art holy card shows the digitally mastered statue of Our Lady in a realistic setting. It is completely based on digital photography of the statue or several statues combined with photos of real backgrounds and other artifacts and elements. Whenever possible we try to use backgrounds related to apparitions or places related to Mary under this title. The uniqueness of these cards sets them apart from any other holy cards depicting similar subject matter. Icon Style:One of our more recent additions of holy cards of Mary, show Her in an orthodox iconic style of the eastern Church. While we used the photos of our statues of Mary, here we present her with a completely different treatment in a style used by iconographers. While these are not true icons, the imagery is similar and we are the only ones depicting Mary under so many titles in the iconic style. The card dimensions are 2.5 inches by 5 inches. They are beautifully designed and unlike any other prayer cards of Mary under this title. The cards are laminated to extend their usage and are a part of the Marian collection series of these cards. What makes these cards unique, is that these are the only cards based on real photographs of statues composed with real backgrounds. They are very sharp and carefully designed to present real beauty of Catholic art and devotion.
