Genuine 1956-67 Mercedes Chrome Hood Grille Shell Stand Up Star for Models with Hold Down Spring. This is a genuine new Mercedes-Benz part in the Mercedes package. Please see the applications guide to ensure this is for your car, or email me if you are not certain. This is the early style star, with a retaining spring only not the later style using a barrel retainer, hook, spring and pin. This is for most Mercedes models from 1953 through around 1967 The round base of the star where the spring hooks in, and sits on the base, is 23mm in diameter.
