NEW!! Mean Street (CUSTOM PAINT) “FRANKENSTRAT” EVH Red StripedGuitar & EVH Case! Please read all the details below on this item: This is the “genuine” article, custom EVH replica, top to bottom, from the “day”. This is NOT the fast-food Fender massively produced model, which are all very unauthentic looking. This is a beautiful, minutely “detailed” masterpiece body (unboxed except for pic’s & measurements) built as close as possible to Eddie’s legendary guitar by the man himself Mitchel at Mean Street Guitars. All “top shelf” components, the guitar includes “two” humbucker pickups: the mounted one is a black DiMarzio Norton humbucker, which is the “matched” pickup that fits “perfectly” the era of this guitar, and the second (included humbucker pickup) is a Mean Street version of that same original Frankenstrat. The Warmoth neck needs to be mounted, therefore this guitar may not be for everyone. It takes a degree of skill to mount necks (see Warmoth website) and to set this up correctly. Normally a luthier would be needed, that is unless the person is handy and knowledgeable enough in this field to perform the mounting. Included also are TWO neck decals, a Warmoth and a Kramer, in the event you would like to implement their “logo” on the headstock. It is an absolute gorgeous Warmoth “PRO” construction maple neck 25 1/2 scale, slapshot style, maple neck/shaft wood & Fender neck pocket, unfinished, 1 5/8 chrome Germany FR nut, chrome string tree, standard thin back shape, 10-16 ” compound radius fretboard, Dunlop 6130 frets, Gotoh Chrome SG38 tuners, and black face dots. In our opinion this is the neck of ALL necks!! In addition, there are simpler things that you may choose to be put on that requires some skill; e.g., chrome Mean Street neck plate, eye bolt strap buttons, clear tremolo cavity cover, black pickguard, chrome D-Tuna, etc… these are all fairly easy to your liking or choice. The single coil neck pickup was disengaged per Eddie, however, a tone pot was tucked under the pick guard to customize any particular scenario using the toggle switch. The bridge is a Floyd Rose “original” German built chrome tremolo. Also included is a new EVH Chrome D-Tuna. Lastly, included is the black EVH OEM Factory Striped Case. Note: Be sure to text us with any and all questions you may have on this MS EVH REP Guitar. Note: The guitar can also be purchased “without” the neck, in which case $150.00 will be deducted.
