This is a barely used iRobot Roomba J7 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner with Smart Mapping technology. I purchased this mostly out of curiousity to see how it worked. It’s a super cool unit, installing the app and setup was a breeze and within minutes of plugging it in it was wandering around our first floor mapping and cleaning.After it completes the map you can adjust it, it has a camera and accurately named all the rooms on our first floor (office, kitchen, living room, dining room) perfectly. After your map is done, you can tell it to clean a specific room, the whole floor, etc. A very cool gadget to have, especially if you have pets or kids that are leaving crumbs all over the place. While operating it does a great job of avoiding people when they are walking around as well.The unit does a very nice job, it is able to move around obstacles, through wide chair legs, etc and does a good job picking debris off the ground and corners with the rotating brush. We have a combination of tile, hardwood and rugs and it was able to traverse across them with no issues. We even have a step-down room and it was smart enough not to go over the edge. We used it for about 2 days total, nothing wrong with it at all, we just prefer to do things the old-fashioned way. When it’s low on battery it makes it’s way back to the dock to charge, after fully charged it finishes the job. It got about 2-3 hours per battery charge cycle and with the app you can see the status, hours, progress and more.All components are in excellent shape all around, I cleaned it out the best I can, it only has a couple of hours use on it. It comes in it’s original retail box with the dock, extra filter, extra brush and documentation.
