Brand New for 2015 custom made in the USA XBST Extremeblaster Short series internal resonated muffler fitting Honda VFR800 model years 1998-2009 with a Delkevic Header installed ( non stock header system this item does not include the Delkevic header available for $317 on Ebay) Optional Internal baffle (see below) is removable for full open pipe operation and also contains a plug for added rumble and quieter operation that is easily removed for greater exhaust flow and less back pressure. The XBST Extremeblaster excels as a top end pipe baffled for good low end response and mid-range and has awesome unique tone much like the new R1 motor. The XBST like other Extremeblaster designs has a 3) stage baffle system. The first stage fixed internal baffle in the base price unit delivers a rumbling tone with less distortion then a non resonated pipe (requires a power commander or fuel controller). The optional second stage ( see below) can be installed to quite down the pipe considerably and operates without the need of a fuel controller or power commander and has excellent throttle response and torque. The third stage plug in the baffle can be removed for added top end horsepower and still maintains enough back pressure not to warrant a fuel controller and great throttle response and mid-range power. Pipe is available in Chrome or all black powder coat finish at the same cost, please message me if you want the black powder coat model or your pipe will arrive in the base chrome finish with red interior. It should be noted this motorcycle exhaust should not exceed 500 degrees.This coating exceeds specifications for salt spray resistance testing. No blistering or rusting from scribe after 120 hours continuous testing. Passed a full battery of corrosion performance tests for automotive applications.
