If you want to remove the decal, it does remove easily by getting under it with your fingernail and peeling it off your wall. However, when you do that it is likely to tear and stretch so it’s not meant for reuse. They are really simple to apply however, and if you want we can send a small sample for you to try out before applying the real thing. Just make a note in the comments section and we can send it! Are the decals reusable? Well, yes & no. Our standard solid color cut vinyl wall decals are likely to stretch and tear when removed and are not meant to be reused in other places. However, our printed decals are created on material that is reusable or replaceable. Will the decals damage my wall? Well the decals are meant for the wall. You should follow proper instructions to painting however. If a wall was painted in the past 72 hours, or painted over a non-adhering surface (such as caulk) the paint is likely to peel when removing the decal. If the surface was painted properly you should have no problems when removing, however we cannot provide a 100% no damage guarantee. Is there a clear backing to the decal? There is no clear backing. The decal itself is the only sticky part and words can be separated and cut out to place differently if desired. Can I customize my favorite quote or saying? You bet! Simply use the contact form to let us know what quote you were looking for. Be sure to include information like the kind of font you would like (plain, fancy or both), the approximate size you were looking for, as well as the color. Please note: We get tons of custom requests, so be patient it could take 7-10 days for a reply. Can I sell your decals to earn extra cash? We do offer sales opportunities to select customers who wish to share the fun of wall decals with family and friends. Shipping is always $5.95 no matter how much you order. Orders totaling more than $100 receive free shipping. When can I expect to receive my decal? We do ship using priority mail service through the post office daily. Your order is usually processed and shipped within two business days. From there, priority mail states a 2-3 day delivery (eastern states generally receive theirs earlier – we are in Ohio) so customers can expect their decal to arrive usually within 5 business days. Why won’t my wall decal stick to the wall? We rarely get that problem, but if you do, make sure the surface is clean so that no particles could tarnish the adhesive. Using the applicator smooth the decal several times on the wall before removing the transfer tape. If the wall is really cold you could warm it up with a hair dryer (heat makes the decals stick easier), however the decals are made to where you shouldn’t have to do that. What size should I go with? As far as the measurements go, it really depends on a lot of things. 1. Measure your space and the size is really up to you. 2. Is the decal going to be your focal point? If so think large! 3. How large is the room? The larger the room, the bigger the larger you may want. 4. How empty is the room on other walls? If you have lots of “stuff” you may not want a large decal to clutter things up. Will your decals work on my car or outside? Yes! We even make car decals. Our decals are ideal for signs, businesses, trailers, storefronts, front doors, and more! They have a five year outdoor life span. Will these decals work on textured walls? Yes! You can use them on a textured wall. Our only suggestion would be to use your hand when smoothing out the decal onto the wall instead of the applicator card. The card likes smooth surfaces, and your hand will enable the decal to apply to the creases and texture of the wall. Other questions? Or they may choose to purchase the item again at a discounted price. We ships all orders via UPS and USPS. The customer will receive an automatic email with the tracking information at the time of shipment. Items shipped First Class Mail through USPS will not include shipment tracking. International tariffs, taxes, and or brokerage fees may be incurred at the time of delivery, and are solely the customer’s responsibility. We will not mark packages as gifts when shipping Internationally, and the full value of the package will be disclosed on the shipping documents at the time of shipment. Cancellation We do not offer a cancellation option for standard orders, as we tend to process and produce orders very quickly. Customers can cancel a custom order which requires proofing if they do not approve of the proof and it has not been sent to production. All cancellations must be authorized by a Sweetums Signatures representative. Returns Sweetums Signatures will accept returns on most items and will issue a refund with minus a 10% restocking fee and original shipping cost (and rush processing; if applicable). Customers who return items that qualified for free shipping will receive a credit minus the 10% restocking fee and minus the initial cost of shipping for the item. Custom orders are not eligible for return, unless the return is requested due to an error on our behalf. Custom orders include all decals within the custom decal category as well as the personalized apparel category, and custom request orders. Returns and exchanges are only valid within the United States. Returns and exchanges can only be authorized within 72 hours of receiving the order shipment. All returns and exchanges must be authorized by a Sweetums Signatures representative before you ship them back to us. All return shipping must be paid for by the customer. You may send your products back via any shipping method you prefer, however, we recommend that all returns and exchanges be shipped back using a trackable and insured shipping method. The decal must be rolled. Do not fold the decal. The decal must be returned in a sturdy package like the one that the decal arrived in. Sweetums Signatures cannot be responsible for returned packages that are damaged or lost in transit. Refunds can only be issued to the original credit card used at the time of purchase. If original credit card is no longer valid, a store credit will be issued instead. Decals that do not adhere to textured walls or unfit surfaces are not eligible for returns or exchange. If a decal is damaged during installation, a replacement may be offered to the customer at a discounted price. If your package arrives damaged and it has damaged your order we require detailed pictures of the damaged packaging and damaged order to make an insurance claim with the shipping company. Again, you must contact us with this information within 72 hours of receiving your shipment. Sweetums cannot be held responsible for any decals that do not stick due to: wall texture, eco-friendly paint, surfaces painted within 30 days, or applying to surfaces under 68 degrees. The customer assumes all risks when applying our decals. Sweetums cannot be held responsible for damage to paint, walls, or any other application surface.
