ECWCS Government Issue Military – Extended Cold Weather Clothing SystemYou are buying one Cold Weather Drawers. These drawers (long johns) are new in the original labeled packages. They are US Military issue brown in color and designed to be used by both men and women. Military Description: Polypropylene Undershirt and Drawers(Undershirt not included) The polypropylene undershirt and drawers are new ECWS development items. The underwear layer next to the skin acts as a moisture wicking layer and serves to draw moisture away from the skin, transferring it to the outer layers. The Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) is a layered insulating system adjustable to personal preference, metabolism, and prevailing weather conditions. It is designed to maintain adequate environmental protection between +40°F and -60°F and these drawers are the bottoms for the first layer. Infrared Reflectance (Thermal) Polypropylene Fleece Made in the USA An undergarment, primarily designed for protection at mean monthly temperatures of plus 14 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 10 degrees Celsius) to plus 68 degrees Fahrenheit (plus 20 degrees Celsius).
