Vintage Boehm porcelain bird figurine IS a damaged piece, however IF you are willing to turn the damaged side to the back of your display case…it might work for you! NOTE: The damage I could see is as follows: · The Ring of Holly branch is broken off leaving a chip mark at the top of the branch to where the branch meets the base stem (see were indicated in pictures). · There is also a tiny CHIP on the tip of the top HOLLY Leaf · The tip of the bird’s tail is chipped off. This listing is for a lovely, but DAMAGED Limited-Edition Boehm Porcelain ‘Black Capped Chickadeee figurine #438 circa 1957-72. This little Chickadee sits on a [broken] branch of Holly with green foliage and red berries. The detail in this sculpture is realistically lifelike with wonderful hand painted coloration! The bird has a matte finish, while the holly leaves have a soft gloss finish to them. Boehm figurines are known for their exceptional quality. The bottom is marked with the Boehm logo, and the number 438. It was made in the USA. Measures 8¾” high Please inspect the pictures carefully to determine the condition & details regarding features.
