This meat grinder is ready to use, although it has two issues. First, the On-Off switch has been replaced, and since the original switch was no longer available for sale, it was replaced by a similar item, which does the job perfectly, but the hole size had to be modified with a cardboard spacer (see photo). The second issue is that the reversing switch is inoperative. The switch itself is working, so an internal wiring problem is probably the cause. Anyone in the know could have it back working in no time. Otherwise, the appliance works just as it should, and all the attachments plus the instruction manual are included. The original box is missing. Make small batches of fresh sausages or ground meat for hamburgers with the help of this Back to Basics 4500 electric meat grinder. With its 1/4 hp motor and stainless steel grinding knife, this meat grinder can grind up to 1 1/2 pounds per minute. It comes with 1/8″, 1/4″, and 1/16″ size stainless steel plates so you have different options available depending if you want to create fine, medium, or coarse grinds. This unit also has options for forward and reverse operation* and 3 sausage stuffing tubes for further convenience.*The reverse operation is not working pending a wiring repair. Cutting Plate VersatilityYou can create a variety of fine, medium, or coarse ground meat using the 3 stainless steel grinding plates that come with this machine. With 1/8″, 1/4″, and 1/16″ grinding plates available, you can grind practically any meat you may have. Changing the plates is quick and easy and doesn’t require any additional tools so you can make the switch and begin grinding your meat immediately. Easy-to-AssembleBecause assembling your grinder attachments does not require any additional tools, you can quickly break down the machine for cleaning or remove the plate attachments to switch them out for other sizes.
