ANZA KNIVES BRINGS YOU THE 8 1/4″ OVER-ALL FIXED BLADE KNIFE MODEL # (457) #1 BUCKSKIN WOOD. A TOTAL LOOKER, MADE WITH FILE-STEEL CARBON STEEL / FILE-STEEL. These blades are very very sharp (Rc) 59-61 Full Tang Construction so its very strong nothing is stronger than one piece of steel. This beauty is completely hand made in the U.S.A. and all the material is from the states. One of Anza Craftsman took all of these pieces and made it into a Custom limited edition Artwork. These handles are made with Dymalux please see below. DymaLux is a dyed birch laminate resin-impregnated with phenolic resin. Its waterproof and extremely dense making it harder than virtually any natural hardwood on Earth. These are one of the strongest and sharpest knives you can buy today, and a limited edition knife made here in the U.S.A. for just over One Hundred Dollars think about this please many of you pay 5 times this for knives you have heard of or even more, you shouldn’t pay for a name why Anza has been around for longer than you and I. The Handle is Wood cut and shaped to fit the alloy and your hand perfectly, with two Finger Grooves and a Thumb Rest on the spine for great control and safety. And as the handle goes back it widens to a 4″+ Diameter, all of Anza’s knives do vary in size and width because of the natural materials. The Blade is 4″ long 3/16″ thick tapering down as it goes to the tip and 1″ to 3/4″ wide. The Handle is 4 1/2″ long and very large/ thick plenty to have a great grip, all of this goes into a high-end Cow-Hide leather sheath, This is one reason all of their knives are Custom / Limited Edition knives and in our opinion they are better than most other manuf.
