Tonight, I will be listing approximately 50 vintage to somewhat vintage disc golf or what I once referred to a frisbee golf flying discs. Disc #6 INNOVA CHAMPION ROC Please read this very carefully. I purchased these discs at a local estate auction. They came from an older fellas belongings. Only two or three, of the fifty or so, had any dates on them. From what I recall, they were both 1990’s. So, somewhat vintage, but not ancient. I am going to list them all at $1000 OR BEST OFFER. NO, I DON’T EXPECT $1000, so you don’t need to send me any ignorant comments, in the event that I have a $2 disc listed for $1000. I did that because I have no idea what they might be worth and I know a lot of people search by “highest items first”. I just didn’t want them to get lost among the other zillion discs listed. EACH DISC IS PICTURED FROM THE FRONT AND REAR. MY INVESTMENT IN THESE 50 OR SO DISCS IS QUITE SIGNIFICANT, FAR FAR FAR MORE THAN I THOGHT I WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAID, SO PLEASE, NO CHEAPSKATES OR BOTTOM FEEDING. If you see more than one disc that you want, I’ll be happy to combine shipping. Most show a pretty good amount of wear, so I’m selling them as a shelf type collectible, not guaranteed to fly true and far. Almost all have the former owners name written on the back side along with his telephone number. As far as weight, many have the weights written on the back, but that weight and my scale weight were often off by a gram or two. So, the grams that you see on my postal scale are close, but might not be spot on with your scale. No, I don’t play disc golf. When I was younger, I played what you might call, poor mans disc golf, or what we called frisbee golf. It wasn’t organized like it is at proper disc golf courses now. Our idea of frisbee golf, was to start at someones house and make up holes as we went around the neighborhood. Like, the first hole, might have been the big oak tree that got hit by lightning last year. Hole #2 was the telephone pole at the corner of X and X street. Hole #3 was Mrs. Jones trash at the end of her driveway etc. etc. We didn’t have different weights of discs for different purposes. Each kid had one frisbee and thats it. In fact, the frisbee that I used, was the same frisbee that I played with my dog with, so it even had built in punctures from his teeth. Anyway, obviously I’m no expert, but there were 10 or so that I thought were more unique than others, including the Champioship disc from Texas.
