Lightweight, extremely robust but the black pelt-surface is soft-to-the-touch and painless to carry around. A real space-saver, the top cover can be attached to the back hinges and becomes yet another table to accommodate other gears. Two drawers at your disposal, one for TM-3000 and the other may be utilized for accessories or it’s your call. All wiring connections are coiled-type, neatly organized and tangle-free. The two Polaroid monitors flip-open and can also be a playback source if need be.The quality of workmanship reflects the hundreds, perhaps thousands of hours under my belt in the span of some three decades in the industry as a DJ, audio engineer and A/V tech support, building and designing rare custom modular cases to satisfy my personal specification requirements out of frustration that no manufacturer can seem to deliver my ideal mobile compartment needs. This modification allows patching integration with any audio-video snake connection seamlessly or simply as extension by utilizing the standard XLR cables readily available by all professionals. In practice, I would combine this rig with 2-to-4 standard definition camera set-up (3-ccd preffered) to capture live events professionally on a hard drive hhd/dvd recorder. For more ambitious configuration, one recorder per-camera is used, (Pioneer, Sony or the like) plus one more for the active sum of all cameras broadcast in real-time onto a projector and screen. In other words, record your entire event footage non-stop and uninterrupted on hard-drive while simultaneously projected on video-screen for public viewing. Edit later and burn a copy on a dvd disc of your most treasured memories for posterity and safe keeping. It’s my conviction that dvd/cd media remains the best format for backing-up digitally.I have also successfully implemented the MX-1 over the internet for an interactive Q & A seminar session on-the-fly. There’s no limit what you can accomplish creatively with the Videonics and the result may astound you!The MX-1 and TM-3000 have endless live, editing or post production applications more so now than ever been before in today’s culture of integrated digital video-technology. Great for live situations such as weddings, houses-of-worship, seminars, music video productions, DJ/VJ or karaoke shows, concerts, corporate events and even live streaming is within reach. Maximum of 4 video/audio sources in any combination can be effortlessly mixed, switched, edited, recorded and archived.
