Welcome toLarry’s Small Engines.These are getting Harder to find in working order!The last three pictures are only to show you what the flywheel looks like if You are going to be using this part on your engine.You will get just what You see in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos. Now upon request, we can show you a video of this unit in working order.Trouble shooting instructions. The most common thing to look for that could have shorted Your unit out is the coating that falling off the high lead wire going to the SSI (Solid State Ignition / Spark Plug Coil) unit. That wire must NEVER come in contact with the engine block while the engine is in run mode orit will burn out the module inside of the SSI unit and possibly ruin the Magneto on this Stator plate. Also test your Magnet on Your Flywheel to make sure it has good power to help generate the juice needed to fire the engine. Lastly make sure your kill wire that usually runs to the tab on front of engine block (plastic piece) is not in contact with metal or was recently painted with some form of metallic paint causing it to ground it out to keep it from working. That usually runs straight to a switch that has only a ON/OFF to it or Toggle that has only a on an off on it. The 610965 Stator plate does not apply to the instructions below because it has a single wire not going to any 12v source.Lastly the ignition switch (Found on tractors) and or Toggle found on the miller welders should be tested for any continuity when changing any positions on the key switch. The key switch should be replaced every 5 years or so. This is because everything is mostly made in the stupid, lazy, stealing, cheaply made Covie country. Their Cheap crap will burn out a (Never to die) Tecumseh electrical part. Here is the reason right here below. The Other most common thing is the ignition key switch. The contacts from inside the switch become loose from getting turned on and off throughout its lifetime.
