1953 Lord Elgin men’s wrist watch in excellent looking and running condition (Nice for women too!). The movement was professionally serviced recently and keeps accurate time. The high grade U.S.A. made Caliber 680 mechanical movement has 21 ruby jewels, an adjusted balance and a sub second hand. The serial number on the movement is K928005 which dates it to 1953. The gold plated hands are in excellent original condition with light age patina, and the cream colored textured dial with gold plated applied numerals is in excellent original condition with some light spots & age patina. The original 14K yellow gold filled Wadsworth Watch Case Company case with flared band lugs is in exellent condition with very light wear from use. The case dimensions are approximately 1-3/8 inches long including the lugs x 1 inch wide (not including the crown) x 3/8 inch thick including the crystal. The new old stock gold plated crown is in near mint condition, and the original extra thick high dome acrylic crystal was polished and is in fine condition. The band is a new old stock soft braided leather model with a gold plated band in mint condition. This watch is a real beauty, great for your collection & everyday use! (My pictures have some unavoidable shadows, reflections and dust spots that will be cleaned; the watch looks fine in person).
